On Sunday, August 18th, the 28-year-old alum of “The Bachelor” shared the exciting news on Instagram: she and her husband Grant Troutt are expecting their first child.
In her Instagram post, Prewett posted photos from a maternity shoot featuring her and Grant Troutt, who are both 28. The images capture the couple posing in a lush, green field, with Troutt in a white polo and pants, and Prewett in a flowing white dress with black trim.
“WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!! Baby Troutt, we are SO ready for you and can’t wait to meet you 🤍🥹 .” Prewett shared her feelings and ultrasound images in the photos with her husband on the green field.
The couple reportedly got engaged in July 2022 after eight months of dating. And Prewett and Troutt officially married three months after their engagement in October 2022. Madison Prewett married her husband like she always dreamed in her whole life.
Prewett revealed when she would be proposed to. And Grant Trott had been planning for weeks to propose to Prewett on the beach. During that time, he was “constantly” meeting with Prewett’s family and friends to make arrangements.
He actually was supposed to come with me and my friends to Florida but he got sick and wasn’t able to make it,” she explained to PEOPLE at the time. “I thought we were celebrating one of our friend’s birthdays. Then, Madison Prewett tied the knot with Grant Troutt on Saturday at his parent’s house in Dallas, Texas. The couple exchanged vows in front of 400 friends and family, including notable Bachelor Nation personalities such as Ben Higgins, Victoria Fuller, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Kelley Flanagan.
“We chose this location because it’s unique and special to us and having all our friends and family there means so much, I have always wanted to get married in the fall and we wanted a short engagement, so it couldn’t be more perfect.” The 28-year-old contestant of “The Bachelor” shared with PEOPLE exclusively.
Now, she’s enjoying life with her husband Troutt. At the moment, the couple will embark on a new chapter in their lives together: the former “Bachelor” Madison Prewett is pregnant and expecting their first baby together.
“I have waited for this day my whole life,” she said. “I am so excited that it’s finally here. He is everything I have prayed for, waited for, and dreamed of my whole life. He was definitely worth the wait.”
