The famous rapper Cardi B reveals she is pregnant with her third child on her Instagram on August 1, 2024. In her Instagram post, she shared:
With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!
The 31-year-old rapper announced her pregnancy on Instagram shortly after news of her and her husband Offset’s divorce after 6 years of marriage. The rep of “WAP” hitmaker confirmed to the public that “It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming”.
Cardi B and Offset have two children together, a son named Wave Set, who is 2 and a half years old, and a daughter named Kulture Kiari, who is now 6 years old. The rapper is seeking joint custody of their children. As of press time, the couple’s divorce filings have not been made public.
In December 2023, Cardi first said “I’ve been single for a minute now” during an Instagram Live. And at the time, she did not know how to announce this news to the public “But I have been afraid … Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign”.
And the “I Like It” rapper has left some clues about her split with Offset such as unfollowing him on Instagram and posting hints on her personal post. “I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music, or find my unfollowings”
Cardi B and Offset have had a lot of ups and downs since the couple got married in September 2017, with Offset constantly being accused of cheating. In 2018, the “WAP” rapper and the Migos star announced their split. And in September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce, but they reconciled and called it off.
Cardi opened up about her tumultuous relationship with ELLE in a 2020 interview, “I know my relationship had a lot of drama and everything. But there’s a lot of love, there’s a lot of passion, there’s a lot of trust, there’s a great friendship. It’s us against the world all the time.”
Rapper Offset previously expressed gratitude for his new family to Essence in April 2022, “It’s a blessing to be able to have everyone together, and to have a wife who is so open and treats them like they’re her kids,” he shared. “That could have been a problem, but I don’t have to go through that, and it’s awesome”.
