Margot Robbie impressed by bump-hugging dress and this has been her first appearance on the red carpet since she announced her pregnancy. The 34-year-old actress wore an off-the-shoulder gray midi dress and black strappy heels at the Los Angeles premiere of comedy-drama “My Old Ass,” in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday, September 9.
The “Barbie” star looked elegant in a long off-the-shoulder gray dress and a gold chain bracelet that clearly enhanced her baby bump. And the actress smiled when she stood next to her husband Ackerley, co-producers Bronte Payne and Josey McNamara, and My Old Ass director Megan Park and star Maisy Stella.
Her husband Tom Ackerley also attended the red carpet event, but he did not take photos on the red carpet with his wife much. The first time that Margot revealed her pregnancy and expected the first child was when the LuckyChap Entertainment founder couple enjoyed their vacation in Italy. Margot wore a white crop top and rode a boat with Ackerley on Lake Como.
After that, the “Wolf of Wall Street” star continued to appear with a polka-dotted Alaïa dress at Wimbledon 2024 with her husband.
Tom and Margot first met on set “Suite Française” in 2013. At that time, Tom Ackerley was an assistant director on the “Suite Française” project.
In 2014, the pair founded an entertainment company named LuckyChap Entertainment. The company has produced many mega films that Margot has starred in such as “Barbie,” “I, Tonya” and “Birds of Prey”.
Although the couple avoided revealing too much about their relationship, Margot talked about Tom in a Vogue interview in 2016. Robbie said: “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him.”. Then, she continued, “But I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
The couple tied the knot in December 2016 and celebrated a close ceremony in Margot’s country Byron Bay, Australia. Robbie once shared PORTER magazine in 2018 “Being married is actually the most fun ever. Life got way more fun somehow, I have a responsibility being someone’s wife. I want to be better.”Moreover, her British husband also shared a little of their relationship with Times of London in June. He said that they had no problem in business as well as pleasure, “It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing,”.
